The Upsilon Gamma Gamma Chapter (“UGG”) of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc., (Fort Gordon, GA) in conjunction with The Omega Resources Foundation, is soliciting your Donations for our annual Colonel Charles Young Memorial Scholarship Contest. Due to COVID19 our efforts to fund raise in our normal boots on ground fashion has halted any form of physical fundraising.  In traditional Omega Men fashion, we are persevering and adapting to modern times.  We have established online donations for all willing to assist the Brothers of Upsilon Gamma Gamma send kids to College. Upsilon Gamma Gamma is military chapter comprised of members from all branches of service and civilians and thus honors one of America’s outstanding military officers annually by awarding scholarships in the name of Colonel Charles Young. Colonel Young was the third African American male to graduate from the U. S. Military Academy at West Point.  His legacy is resiliency through determination, and success in the face of bigotry and racism.  He rose through the trials of his time to become a successful officer, father and husband.  In honor of his steadfast determination and willingness to uplift others, Upsilon Gamma Gamma Chapter prides itself on assisting college bound financially challenged seniors through the annual Colonel Charles Young Scholarship program.  The Colonel Charles E. Young Scholarship Drive provides resources to the Omega Resources foundation 501(c) 3, with assistant from the Upsilon Gamma Gamma Chapter of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. We award over $3,000 in scholarships annually to young men and women in the Augusta and Central Savanah River Areas to attend universities throughout the US.

This fund purpose is to aid in the establishment of a Fraternity House for the Chapter.
